Health and Safety at Bri-Chem Supply Corp

Sodium Solutions Inc is committed to providing a healthy and safe workplace for employees, visitors, contractors, and the public. Sodium Solutions Inc meets or exceeds all applicable government legislation and industry standards.

Employees and contractors are expected to not risk injury or illness to themselves or others and to co-operate with the company’s efforts to protect our team, our partners, and our clients.

We will:

  • develop and implement measurable health, and safety objectives aligned to the Sodium Solutions operation
  • focus on hazard identification, assessment, elimination and control, and management of risks to prevent injury and illness to employees, visitors, and contractors
  • ensure managers, supervisors, workers, and contractors are aware of and understand their health and safety responsibilities, and are held accountable for their performance
  • undertake appropriate audits to measure progress, assess compliance with legislation and company standards, and identify improvements in support of the company’s efforts to provide a healthy and safe workplace.

An injury- and incident-free workplace is our goal. We believe that through the collective efforts of employees at all levels, this goal is achievable.

All contractors are required to comply with applicable OHS legislation, maintain current WCB coverage, and provide appropriate instructions and supervision for their employees working on our sites.

It is the responsibility of all employees to comply with the Sodium Solutions health and safety rules and procedures, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Codes applicable to our operation.
