Soda Ash

SODA ASH is the common name for Sodium Carbonate (Na2CO3). SODA ASH is used primarily to remove calcium from make-up water and to treat calcium contamination, mainly from drilling anhydrite. It is used as a cleansing agent for domestic purposes like washing clothes. It is also a component of many dry soap powders and it is used in the manufacture of glass, soap and paper.

Bentonite

NATURAL GEL is a 200-mesh bentonite that contains no polymer additions, meeting API Specification 13A, Section 10. NATURAL GEL provides viscosity, gelling and filtration control properties to most fresh water-based drilling fluids where an unaltered high quality bentonite is required. Ideal for use as an oilwell cementing extender and binder where additives may affect chemical analysis. NATURAL GEL is also used in hydraulic-barrier applications (pond-sealing, slurry trenching, caissons, etc.) and in monitoring wells.

Calcium Nitrate

CALCIUM NITRATE, also known as ENVIROFLOC, is the hydrated double salt: 5Ca(NO3)2•NH4NO3•10H2O. Calcium nitrate is mainly used as a component in fertilizers, but it has other applications such as a calcium source in clear water drilling, invert emulsion muds and as an accelerator in cementing.
